Our mission is to assist parents, school districts and state agencies in providing accessibility, quality and equity to students in the state with sensory impairments through a continuum of service and placement options. Our vision for each or the children we serve is Education, Communication and Independence for Life! The IESDB will serve all qualifying residents of Idaho from birth to age 21.
One Size Does NOT Fit All
We believe this strongly so we have programs and services designed to meet a broad spectrum of needs along a wide continuum. Working from seven regional Education Centers, these programs provide a positive environment where families and professionals work together and network with other families and agencies to achieve aspirations for their children. Specific programs include:
- Early Intervention
- Preschool Centers
- School Based Consultation
- Post-Secondary Transition
- Educational Interpreting Support
Throughout the school year and summer season, various educational workshops, community activities and events are offered for our families, friends, and professionals across Idaho.
